We are looking for part time receptionists/administrators to join our friendly team

We are looking for team players with excellent communication skills, who are well organised with the ability to work under pressure whilst remaining calm, focused and approachable.

All our job roles require flexibility in working hours and you will be required to provide some holiday and sickness cover for other staff by arrangement with advance notice.

Practice Nurse

The Cookham Medical Centre is looking for a Practice Nurse for 20-25 hours per week.

Days and times are negotiable

Salary will be related to experience and qualifications

We have a practice population of approximately 7,900 patients.

Our Clinical Team is made up of 4 GP Partners, 2 salaried GPs, 2 Practice Nurses and 1 Healthcare Assistant. We also have Clinical Pharmacist and a Social Prescriber working with us on site as part of the Maidenhead Primary Care Network.

The Practice is supported by a strong team of receptionists, secretarial and administrative staff and has both a Practice and a Finance Manager

The applicant must have a caring attitude, excellent communication skills and have qualifications, experience and be competent in providing a range of services: childhood and travel vaccinations, cervical sample taking, wound management and general health promotion.

Experience in the management of chronic health conditions of asthma and diabetes are required and COPD experience or willingness to train for this aspect is desirable.
