Receptionists provide an important link for patients with the practice and are your initial contact point for general enquiries. They can provide basic information on services and results and direct you to the right person depending on your health issue or query. Receptionists make most of the patient appointments with the GPs and nurses. They also perform other important tasks such as issuing repeat prescriptions and handling prescription enquiries, patient records, incoming clinical letters and carrying out searches and practice audits.
We also have two secretaries who deal with patient referrals and doctors' correspondence and an Admin team who deal with patient registration and transfer to other practices, insurance reports and medicals as well as data management and clinical coding.
Our Finance Manager is responsible for the smooth running of the financial aspects of the business and provides support and advice to the Doctors and Practice Manager.
